The British newspaper The Times, one of the papers with the greatest global recognition, has placed the Serralves em Luz exhibition among the 10 best exhibitions to visit in all of Europe this autumn. According to journalist Rachel Campbell-Johnston, this exhibition is one of the “most enticing art shows” on the European scene, worth travelling to this autumn.


Praising the city of Porto, saying it is one of the most popular tourist destinations today, the journalistic piece entitled “To Hell and back: the best European exhibitions to see”), invites visitors to Serralves em Luz, “an ever-changing exhibition of light and colour”, explaining that by walking the 3 km route of this immersive installation that crosses the extensive Serralves Park, visitors “will be transported to a dream realm where the seasons change under circular planets, and rainbows carve through the atmosphere.”


Alongside Serralves em Luz, The Times includes, on this list of must-see exhibitions, the exhibitions Inferno, at the Scuderie del Quirinale, in Rome, dedicated to the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri; the exhibit The Morozov Collection: Icons of Modern Art, on display at the Louis Vuitton Foundation, in Paris; an exhibition on Johannes Vermeer’s work, On Reflection at the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in the German city of Dresden; in the Viennese Albertina, Modigliani: The Primitivist Revolution; the exhibition of Edvard Munch's work at the long-awaited new Munch Museum in the Norwegian capital, Oslo; Remember Me: Portraits from Dürer to Sofonisba, which brings together 100 renaissance portraits at the Rijksmuseum, in Amsterdam; the exhibition Europalia: Tracks to Modernity, on display at the Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels, on how artists differently represented the train; the exhibition of Magritte's prolific work, The Magritte Machine, at  Thyssen-Bornemisza in Madrid and an exhibition commemorating the 200th anniversary of Greek independence, Revolution ’21, at the renovated Alexander Soutsos museum in Athens.
